About Jimmie Lee Moore aka String Puller

Hello everyone, I’m Jimmie Lee Moore and I’m known as theString Puller out of Miami, Florida. I was James Brown’s bass player for 19 years. I am a critically acclaimed bass guitar player, producer and musical arranger. I’ve worked with some of the best that ever was in R&B, Soul, Funk, Jazz and other genres.

Folks I also have a profound passion for gospel music, by which I’ve been a dedicated member and bass guitarist for some of several well-known local churches in Miami, such as the Second Chance Missionary Baptist Churchunder the leadership of Rev. Dr. Ben Wilson, Jr.; Church of the True Believers of Christ under Rev. James Poole; and I’m currently a member as well as the bass guitarist and head of the Media Ministry at New Beginnings Church of Godin Pompano Beach, Florida, under the leadership of Rev. James G. Brown.
